Give it some time, Tenergy and Dignics takes up to a month to break in and play properly. I have the same feeling with my Tenergy 05 and fx, I just know that after 3~4 weeks of hard training they will play good, soften up and feel easy to engage sponge, more controlable and easier to play.

So all are same material?

Nope, he said that nationals have much stronger effects while normal seamoon is a mild effect. Especially the nat yellow is extremely strong. Plus the qc of the nationals is top notch while seamoon changes by the batch.

I used it when it had high tackiness and I liked it on viscaria. Still thinking of putting it back the viscaria or getting a long v/sun yingsha and playing again with it. It just felt like it was the easy mode for table tennis. Tenergy is one hell of a rubber, but it's hard as balls to use.

It's a cheap rubber not made for boosting, can't blame them. Maybe less oil would be just fine. What I can blame them for is letting a rubber with a hole in it pass qc. That's just unacceptable. Happened to me and really annoyed me.

I had my first one separate right after I boosted it, but also it came with a small hole in the topsheet, so probably qc isn't the best. Yet again it's a cheap rubber that plays really good so it doesn't really matter. Qc can't be that high for that price.
