  4. Should i upgrade my ancient Butterfly Gergely Tamca 5000

Both are nice, the Korbel is quite a bit faster, the Pimorac is slow. I believe the Primorac is slower than all classic, or at least similar. The Korbel is a good upgrade. Here's some reviews: Korbel: https://revspin.net/blade/butterfly-petr-korbel.html Primorac...
  5. Faster defensive long pips?

I mean faster as of an lp for higher level players. The neptune is slow...
  6. Should i upgrade my ancient Butterfly Gergely Tamca 5000

Oh don't get the wrong idea, it's one of the worst possible blades to learn with, it's waaay too fast and responsive for a beginner to develop feeling and confidence.😂 Soft 5ply all wood blades are perfect for beginners, stiga al/off classic or yasaka sweden extra are perfect for beginners...
  7. Should i upgrade my ancient Butterfly Gergely Tamca 5000

Keep it, it's a hella fast blade and the black tag bty blades are worth MONEY, in a few years it'll be really expensive. Equipment don't get outdated, if you like your equipment there's no reason to change, unless it gets banned from the ittf. And lucky us all, blades don't get banned. If you...
  8. Upgrade path from Stiga Infinity VPS

Either of them, they're very similar. C53 is said to be better quality and tackier. C2 is faster with less tackiness, closer to euro rubbers. Generally ppl prefer c53 over c2.
  9. Faster defensive long pips?

I've been using yinhe neptune for years and it's starting to feel slow and hard to play with. Blade is palio chop 1, diode v clone. Should I get something like c&f 3, or just replace the sponge with a 1mm German or Japanese sponge?
  10. innerforce/innerforce layer zlc vs harimoto zlc/szlc

There's a difference between stiffness and hardness. Ayous is light and soft but stiff, koto is hard but not stiff, it lets vibrations through and gives feedback. Essentially stiffness is dampening and hardness is, well, hardness...
  11. innerforce/innerforce layer zlc vs harimoto zlc/szlc

I haven't played with specifically the Harimoto variants but I have played with normal innerforce layer alc and zlc. They are similar, I like better the zlc for inner blades and alc for outer blades. Zlc is a bit faster and alc a bit softer. The alc felt a bit too mushy for my liking, the zlc...
  12. Upgrade path from Stiga Infinity VPS

I think Simon Gauzy uses it, I've wanted to try it for myself, maybe sticky rubbers would also suit it, if you need more control check out the rasanter c53 and Bluegrip C2. Have fun😉
  13. Upgrade path from Stiga Infinity VPS

For only 3 years of playing you don't need anything faster than a infinity, if you do want more speed stick with all wood or soft carbon. The intensity would be a good step up, it released together with the infinity, it's a much harder blade with more speed and more crisp feeling. I'm using it...
  14. Fastarc G1 vs Rakza 7 Sponge hardness

Ok got it. I wonder how it's different to the jp series
  15. Post your latest EJ purchase

How does xuperman play? Is it good? Replacement for hurricane/skyline?
  16. Fastarc G1 vs Rakza 7 Sponge hardness

Does the m3 feel like it has a softer topsheet than the goldarc 8? I'm curious because my friend used m2 years and years ago
  17. Fastarc G1 vs Rakza 7 Sponge hardness

Alright! My main setup is stiga intensity with goldarc 8, 47.5 max and Bluestorm Z3 2.1, but the bluestorm just doesn't feel safe. Now on my pen racket my vega, I have a 2.0 euro, that's why I used it as comparison feels even more slippy, it's as the catapult makes the top sheet harder and...
  18. best chinese defensive set up?

I have a palio chop 1, yinhe mars 2 and yinhe neptune. Mars is slow blocking type rubber, kinda boring but easy. Neptune is a slower and grippier 955, and better for defense. Regarding the blade, it's supposed to be a diode v clone, can't tell you if it's close or not because I haven't...
  19. Fastarc G1 vs Rakza 7 Sponge hardness

Got a question, if you compare 2 sheets of the same rubber, let's say a max vega europe and a 1.8 vega europe. If we don't take into account all of the other changes that will happen, which will feel softer and be easier for the ball to dig into at low effort and which at high effort shots?
  20. Fastarc G1 vs Rakza 7 Sponge hardness

Relax dude, harder sponge requires more energy to bottom out, giving a higher ceiling for speed and control. An experienced and strong player, like all pros, can and do benefit more from a harder sponge. That's why you don't see pros playing with soft sponge rubbers, Kreanga was an anomaly.
