I have played with this set up three times now and feel confident to give you a update. Zhang Jike ALC This blade, as expected, plays very similar to the Viscaria Blade. I am not 100% sure (maybe someone could confirm?), but I think it's made up of the same wood veneers as the Viscaria...

I tend to use a scalpel. It offers a very clean cut. It's perfectly smooth too. I just cut my rubbers about an hour ago with one.. LM

I've not seen the green gem on the Viscaria? Maybe they are doing it all blades now and not just newly designed ones! I am sure someone will find a way of faking the gem at some point! LM

Yeh, I know lots of people who have tried to buy good value Butterfly blades from other suppliers or ebay. They have always been fake... You just got to suck up the money I guess. I always buy Butterfly blades. LM

Yes Bribar told me last week that all of their prices are going up too because of BREXIT. I take it this is the case with all companies. I remember that Tenergy was 49.99 year or so ago anyway on permanent sale but they reduced it around Christmas for more sales and then never put it back up...

I have just bought an Evolution MX-P for my backhand. I guess Tenergy is still the benchmark for excellence but it's just too dam expensive!!
