This is my review of the Bloom Power (2.2mm, 45º). The rubber was boosted with 3 layers of seamoon, and glued to a DHS H301. I can compare it to the B2 prov. (2.1mm, 39º), which is the rubber i'm using now, but on all wood custom blade (similar to Korbel) so there are some differences there. Also, the B2 has a few training sessions, so is broken in.
The BP was tackyer out of the package but now they are about the same, just lifting the ball. Overall the rubbers are very similar, the BP feels a little harder and less bouncier than the B2, but that can be because of the blade. The BP produces lower and spinier serves, and the same can be said about the short game. Drives are slower with the BP but more controllable because the ball doesn't fly out in a straight line. Blocking is about the same for both, but the BP stops the ball a little more. The BP has lower throw, that can be good or bad depending on the person and situation. Slow spiny opening loops are easier with the B2, but if you really commit then the BP produces a very low and spiny shot.
