Hi there

Today I would like to share a few blades that I have.
I have had them for a bit, and then through a few contacts got in touch with some people at Darker that can identify them and their time period.
So that was fun.
If you have anymore information, and share the same interest as mine, please share!

1. 1950s Premade Darker shake hand blade. This is the oldest Darker blade i have in my posession.

Hi these are nice collectible blades. I have also an unknown Darker blade that I can not identify.
My guess would be a custom Spline D3 but I'm not sure, if anyone can help me out would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

I’m a Darker fan myself. Being a Jpener, I was drawn to the company by their seeming commitment to the Jpen style (represented by the number of models they had altogether in their single ply Hinoki Speed series and various multi ply models) and their reputation for quality.
Love that vintage Red Tag Jpen. Did they have model names back then or was that specific to Jpens?

It's hard to get information on these old bats, so for now can only get age estimates
