Seemed like carl was gone for a week... maybe he spent some time comforting the inept Goon Squad in their latest one week stay in the infamous basement septic tank by means of a certain remote trigger pull on the trap door baited by a pile of fake national H3 with an attractive lady in a miniskirt bending down to examine it as the Goonies fall for it.

I may have been quiet, but I was not gone. If I was, the serious mass of SPAM that has been hitting the site would still be around and all you would see is a wall of posts in Chinese alphabet about porn, call girls, casinos and fake college degrees.

Now i can't figure what attracts me more, the fake nationals H3 or the lady in the miniskirt bending..........life is hard.

Now that everybody has agreed that the above mentioned rubber is not repairable, i wonder
if anybody has tried injecting some glue carefully through the sponge ??
Of course too much glue will give a "hard spot" - not enough glue ....................

I wasn't going to say anything. But, you are correct. With a syringe and a big enough gauge on the needle, you could inject glue in and then flatten the bubble and get the detached or broken pips to bond.

If you had that lying around, it would be worth a try. Otherwise, may as well use the bubble as an opportunity to get a new rubber.

Buy a new rubber. Fixing the bad one is iffy and more time will be wasted trying to fix the bad rubber than what it is worth. Save the time, buy a new rubber and play.

Easy for you to say mate. I personally would put this under "occupational therapy", as I have the glues, the syringes and the needles. It would be a better way to spend time than to look at young ladies in mini skirts 🤣
