You can get table tennis rubbers ribbed now? For whose pleasure are these ribbed for?

Rxton 5 arrived in mail today as well. Unfortunately it is the new package version. So I'm worried this is also a soft sponge version.

Well I opened the package and the rubber seems quite good, so I'm not too mad.

The sides are not curled, which seems to mean there isn't any crazy treatment on it. With my last problematic sheet, the corners were curled inward, which already gives off the impression of a soft sponge.

Then when I push down hard on the sponge, it does seem firm and Chinese. The sponge is printed as 41d, and I would say it probably is at least 40d.

Edit: Actually let me take that back. I think it is probably closer to 39d. When I compare it to a Rxton 1 sheet I have, they are the same hardness. 39d isn't terrible I guess...but it's still not as hard as I want. Loki seems like they have problems getting their sponge hardness right.

Yes indeed, and this is not the only problem they have got. For me Loki -rubbers are now not worth buying anymore. Too inconsistent. 😦

I have got lots of R5 in my cupboard, I bought them when they were still very sticky

of course, these were the good old days when Loki started out, all rubbers were the same stickiness and the sponges were hard as leather.

Just arrived today, got my 30 Double Fish v40 balls. They look great!

They are, i am happy with mine, just ordered 30pcs, maybe i will order more later.

Choice selection from HWSPORTS on AliExpress amazing.

Order arrived in 6 days, very well packaged as well. Might not be the cheapest store on Aliexpress, but it is the one that does best shipping and quality wise so far for me, especially the Choice selection!

I am still awaiting a Friendship Pro Dragon-F I ordered a week prior to this order, should be here tomorrow or Friday. And hopefully my Bloom Power and Battle Pro Max end of next week!

Yes I am using it and it is just another rubber, nothing special.
I compare it with a 10 dollar rubber , 61second Eagle. It is not better than that.
