I have been enjoying Andro rubbers on my FH for a while. I play at a medium level (1250 rating if that translates internationally).

I started with Andro Roxon pro500, and when that was discontinued I switched to Plaxon 525, which felt very similar. I loved these rubbers from the start, since they felt like fast rubbers which also give a lot of spin.
In the past I've briefly tried the Rasant Turbo (I think?) when it first came out, but found it was too hard / too fast?

Now that my rubbers are in need of replacement, I find the Plaxon 525 is discontinued. I can't really find what would be a similar feeling alternative. Something in the Andro line like R48? Or should I search outside of Andro?
What would be a natural replacement of the Roxon500/Plaxon525?

While we're here anyways, I could also use recommendations for my BH to replace the Tibhar Aurus. Maybe one step more spinny/faster, but maintaining lots of control (technique on backhand isn't that good).

Many thanks in advance!

That will probably not so easy to find.
Plaxon was meant to be an update of early Tensor generations like Plasma and Roxon (hence the name).

The newest idea to retain that early feeling with a bit more spin is BYPE, positioned between entry level rubber GTT and more advanced Hexer. However, both versions have a way softer sponge than your Plaxon.

My guess is that you might also like Hexer Powergrip. The Rasanter series is a bit different.

As for the Aurus, its topsheet feels very firm, but that makes this series stand out. Maybe you could give the Soft version a try, it will be easier to play, might feel faster due to more catapult and will make it easier to get to a desired level of spin.

All that said, I hope someone comes along who really knows the Plaxon and has already successfully replaced it, to give you a practical advice...
