whenever i play vs strange equipment wielders and lose points, i just stop losing points and win them instead.
Am I to understand that you care little or not at all about the conformity of the equipment used by your opponents? That's one way of looking at it, but in that case, why are there regulations in our sport?

Alain because nothing is ever completely correct and we play for fun. If you don't like playing somone just don't.

Most leauges do not conform to:
Some rubbers have chips in the edge
Lighting requirements
Flooring Requirements
Space requirements
Old balls that have no grip left
Not all tables are 25mm
The 25mm tables are usually so old the surface treatment has gone hard and doesnt react to spin like a new one with some grit
Often nets are not measured just eyeballed
Serves are often illegal sometimes
People dont always leave their bats on the table between sets
etc etc etc

its up to each person as to what they draw the line at and for you its a cope about pimples because you dont like that they change the game and that is ok if you dont.

If you play low level tournaments without umpire who enforces the rules?

Remember not only LP, problem also with boosters....

As mentioned above, check the rubber grip. If the ball is sliding like on ice, the rubber is old or treated. Press the ball a bit to bend the pips and try to rotate the ball. If some grip appears — the rubber is not old. Another way is to buy a special device for grip measurement and confirm that the rubber does not cover ITTF regulations. But do you need the following drama? How many players use speed glue, how many boost with >3 layers, how many are hitting the table after losing a point and making inappropriate comments during the game? Where is the line?

people who use ceramic tiles etc. as rackets are not good players. they use odd equipment as a substitute for training.

if you lose against them, just go train more and you'll breeze through them. after a few years of work, you'll sometimes remember those players and how you use to lose to them and laugh at even entertaining the thought that it could be possible to happen again.

When speed glue time I was a two inverted topspin player but not aggressive but consistent attack with FH & BH, maximum blocked some balls that can't counter and my partner was and old man from Deutschland with two long pips only chopping far from the table, no blocks only chops, was a very very competitive person and for me was a school how to beat long pips choppers, I still remember his name "Manfred" only two words in Deutschland learned from him "Mensch" and "Scheiße"....in this time easily I can made 30-40-50 or more times topspin consistently with my FH & BH but i was young & not handicapped, now I'm old & handicapped by an motorcycle accident happened 16 years ago.

So the lesson is play a lot against this kind of players (anti-LP-SP, etc) to learn and adapt to win!!!

Regarding my initial article, I received many interesting responses. There's no need to wait any longer for further contributions that might move the discussion forward. However, one specific point remains unanswered: is it possible to buy a long pimple that has already been modified by the supplier? This last question may seem surprising, but what is the practical situation? I will not continue this discussion.
I thank the participants for their involvement

... According to some other players (who provide no concrete evidence), it might even be possible to buy a long pimples rubber that has already been modified by the supplier. Is this possible? Have you ever encountered this problem? I may be naive, but this is the first time I've heard of a supplier going so far as to sell modified coverings ...
That's possible indeed, but unfortunately.
Respecting the rules is no longer a priority for many competitors, including lower-ranked players.
