Much like the Ovtchtarov ALC has a thicker core....

Voltema and arylate (edited out Dyneema to correct) are all names for vectran. It can be dyed in multiple colours, commonly blue, orange, green in table tennis.

It almost looks like the ayous veneer is thinner, rather than the core.

Without knowing the total thickness of the sample blades used in the catalogue its hard to be sure about it, though it certainly does look rather strange. Wonder if they put the wrong photos next to the products
