Ball hitting the net and going over the table - why pro players continue?

Several times I see situations that one of the players hit the ball which then hits the top of the net and goes over the table (i.e. no bounce in the opponent's field) and the other player returns the ball and the game continue. I don't know of any rules which allow the game to continue (i.e. this should be an error). For example, such situation is the first point in the match Michael Maze vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov (DHS Europe Cup 2014).

I have never seen something like that! I think you just saw the ball wrong. No one will return an out ball.

What are you talking about? In thath match in first point, something like that didn't happen
