air tight bag w silica gel keeps the racket at lowest weight possible.

after 20 pons , the gel is saturated enough for a replacement

10g gel -> 13g

all of the moist is from the sweat 💦 on the wood handle

i got my hand on these superior Druckverschlussbeutel:

unlike most other similar or ziploc type of bags (i.e. similar bags with a zipper thingy or with a valve), these thingy-free valve-free HQ bags are 100% airtight, rather sturdy, 1000x reusable, and just perfect for frequent storages between daily ponsessions. to me, it's hassle-free enough:
first i clean the rubber sheets and apply the protective STIGA sheets (typically while being still in the sports hall), and back home i put the racket into that bag with a 10g-silica gel paclet, suck the bag's air out wiv my mouth (thru a 1cm narrow slit), and quick-close the double track clipping at that slit for a 100% closure.

a 10.21g fresh new paclet would weigh 10.73g after 1 day in that bag, i.e. my racket being ~0.5g lighter between the daily uses/storages,thus keeping the racket's weight at the lowest possible.

you:
zipper-free valve-free double track clipping airtight bags are super common in every household but if you've tested them critically, you know for a fact that basically none of them are 100% airtight. your tests would reveal right away or after 24h that they aren't. they are good enough for clothing, freezers/freezing, general storage, dust-free, non-oxidation, etc.; but you couldn't seal and re-seal e.g. a liquid 1000x in them because they are not 100% airtight but only "99.5%" or less. that's indeed a problem if your environment is high humidity.
me:
the point of this very post is that 100% airtight simple bags (no pumps, no heat, no energy, no valve, no zipper thingy, just a double track for manual clipping) do exist. and i highly recommend them over any reusable vacuum bag.

And if you still think that daily sucking is a hassle (you do pon daily doht you), then at least for long term storage (say 0.5+ years), this storage method be the way to go. Include a 10g silica paclet and suck the bulk air out. The remaining air serves as transporting medium (gas) to transfer the humidity from the blade to the silica gel thru diffusive transport. Note that silica gel can absorb a maximum of 30% of its net weight only (and long before that happens you'll see the silica gel's color indicator turn from orange to green/blue), i.e. a 10.00g paclet will never exceed a weight of 13.00g.

From my tests, measurements, experience, summary, etc, a real sweaty ponsession will add at least 0.5g of mass (humidity) to your racket's weight. So, by pure maths, 6 real sweaty ponsessions will saturate your silica gel paclet, that's quite soon! In practice, not all ponsessions are equally sweaty, depending on the sports hall conditions and the training intensity. But yeah, after 6, 12, or 18 ponsessions, it's about time to replace/recycle the silica gel paclet 🤑. They are cheap to get, highly available, and considered consumerables (consumeribles). I never bothered rejuvenating them (by drying in a baking oven).

Anyway, this post is about my great find. 100% airtight Druckverschlussbeutel do exist. They're a hard find.
