Is there something in market which helps keep blade surface smooth. due to very old blade and constant gluing , it has gone bit uneven leading to bubles on rubber.

Is there ?

Sealant is better to used in new blade. Cannot fix old blades that are already "bad". It will protect the new blade to be in good shape and smooth for much longer time as it will not allow water (atmosphere humidity, water from VOC-Free glues etc) and sweat to insert into the wood. Rev3 is one of the best.
