Bear in mind that the maplewood NCT V is probably discontinued. I bought one on sale (£20 UK) for just that reason. I put some test rubber on it, A Haifu Whale training rubber on FH and Xiom Musa on BH. I am surprisingly happy with the result. Much better for my aggressive style than the Stiga All round Classic. I have control, spin and touch with it. I play with it when I am feeling tired, as I can't play from way back with it. The H3 should be fine, but I have never tried the AK47. There are quite a few blades around this range that would do a similar job: Avalox P500, Yasaka EO, Xiom Fuga as well as the Tibhar. My sincere advice to you would be to buy the least expensive of those so far mentioned in this thread, and grow with it. NO experience with the DHS Wind series, but generally I like DHS, so maybe what you have is good enough.

Palio AK47 is mediocre and mediocre- in everything.
Its' only advantage is its' long life span.
But it's only because it has nothing to loose during it.
