Well i boosted C53 with 1 thin layer and thought it benefited.

Control doesnt seem worse, and there is a slight extra kick. I felt the topend speed was a bit higher.
Great! For my ESN rubber, I always give them one layer of booster. So far that method has not given me any bad results. This is especially true because a lot of my rubbers sit on my shelf for 6-month to a year before I install them. I have the bad habit of buying too much all at once and then I have to digest my purchase over a period of time so I don't want the factory tuned effects to go away. Therefore, give it one layer of booster just in case.

I also have ESN rubbers left over from 3 years ago or 2 years ago where I transfer them between blades right now. Same process and same thinking: give it one layer of booster!
