My pinky ,used on FH ,is responsive snappy and powerful. Me being a dopey old git , it is fair to say that I am not very responsive snappy and powerful .So then Are you ???? 🤣So I tested the Rxton Pink today on bh today. Overall, I was really disappointed. The new sheet of Rxton Pink is nothing like my former sheet. The former sheet had power and catapult and it just felt "alive". My new sheet feels flat. Even after the strong curl and boost, the rubber is too slow. It's not dead-slow, but its' just middling speed with a very linear feel and no catapult. In this way, in fact it feels very much just like the regular Rxton 3.
I compared it with my Moon 12, and it is very far apart. Moon 12 is much more responsive and snappy and powerful.
lucky you. Your pink sounds like my old pink sheet. My old pink was excellent, except it bubbled easily. My new one is totally differentMy pinky ,used on FH ,is responsive snappy and powerful. and here we are again with Loki's disgusting inconsistencies. Siighhhhh 😠lucky you. Your pink sounds like my old pink sheet. My old pink was excellent, except it bubbled easily. My new one is totally different
Today I tried the Rxton 3 Blue boosted with one layer of Haifu national black oil on my BH, and it worked wonder there. I don't need to adjust much my strokes compared to the usual D09C, except some angles here and there to account for the lower arcs compared to those of D09C. It's a tad slower than D09C, probably same spin, but a nastier rebound. It's very easy to access the rubber top gear, if you can handle hard rubbers. Not beginner friendly on the BH side, though. You will need a very active BH to make the best use of it, as generating your own additional spin is pretty much needed for every strokes. Probably I will stick with the Rxton 3 Blue for my next competition cycle, given blue is my favorite color, lol. I didn't expect much given its price, but was pleasantly surprised with it. Hopefully Loki can do something about the consistency.
For its price, I would have no problem replacing it once a month. I can get like 8 of them for the price of a sheet of D09C, lol.Try BH punches with it. Impact sounds like a gunshot and the change in ball speed from mild to wild really catches people off guard. Only rubber I've played with that has such a noticeable jump in gear like that. All I wanted to do during games was finish points with my BH because it was so satisfying.
Unfortunately, you'll find that the potency drops off after about a month or so of use. Both my Rxton 3 blues lost a good amount of grip after that and very bizarrely hardened from 52d to over 54d. You can't have it all for an under $10 rubber I guess.
For the first few weeks after boosting it's pretty crazy though.
