Yes, you 're free to go on boosting.. for some leisure activities solely within your domicile. Please refrain yourself from a malevolent propaganda to legalize boosters, it is a destructive endeavour of yours, anyway.

well, as per ITTF rules, there is nothing malevolent in boosting the rubbers. so I guess the rules are very well written. 😉
again, I am refraining to Falco and how they interpret the rules, and their interpretation seems to be legit. so either ITTF needs to change how rules are written or booster manufacturers found a loophole, deeming boosting legal.

and thanks for all the amazing arguments in this debate, I dare say I provided plenty of arguments.

The rules are open for ambiguous interpretation. Something for which one can really only blame those who made the rules.
completely agree! and that’s my whole point! apparently, as long as you don’t touch the topsheet of the rubber, you are safe.

don’t blame me, blame the rule setter.

well, I don’t have a feeling we’re sitting on the same couch 😂

on the other hand - it’s hard to give a red card without any argument. 😉
that guy thinks he is the father of all red cards
yet he doesn't red card those Russian state sponsored performance drug users and coming to pull a fit because you are using boosters in a non professional capacity.
watch how he is going red card you for walking around your home in your undies

I have a 6-month-old Fastarc C1 (which is quite a soft rubber). I was re-gluing it to another blade, and it shrank badly (by at least 5 mm). I decided to remove all the glue (which was the challenging part) and apply a couple of thin layers of booster.

Surprisingly, it reacted really well. The first layer made it flat; the second layer added a slight curve.

When I glued it back, there were no gaps anymore. I’m still playing with it—no issues so far.

I do not recommend boosting Xiom Omega VII China Guang. it gets uncontrollable after boosting ... and I applied only one layer. I also boosted Tibhar MXP50, and it grew in size for 5mm at least (it was too small for TMXi blade by a lot and now it is big enough for Pro size of Xiom's blades -160x152). but haven't tried it yet, honestly, I am a bit afraid to use it now ... 😂 I am using Falco Tempo Long.

as for Chinese rubbers - H3N is really nice, Dignics09c like, Hurricane 8 is wild, I preferred it unboosted and I also tried Hurricane 9 Violet and it did grow a few mm but in play it does not feel significantly different.

Criticizing individuals for using boosters, while not criticizing companies for doing the same...

That's is hard to grasp for me. I think we can rule out dishonesty, he seems honest to me. So what remains is blindness, and that, put blindly ;-) is stupidity.

LAME EXCUSE BY TRULS MOREGARD.

Please find here most beautiful and wittiful quotes on boosting table tennis rubbers . My best favourit is as follows
IMG_20250802_020024.jpg

Truls Moregard strongly refuted his alleged commitment to the sin of boosting. . We need a substantial evidence, we need to make further tests by means of NIR spectrometry. Heh, all masturbators would deny in loud voice of one's commitment of the perversion . A lame excuse, anyway.

so, I glued the boosted MXP50 onto my new AZXi blade and the first thing I have noticed - it became slightly tacky. not so tacky, that it would lift the ball of the table, but slightly ever so much that when you bounce the ball of the rubber/blade, you can see that it is affecting the bounce.
will risk and take it to the practice session today, hopefully it won't be a disaster. 😂

this was … interesting, to say the least … 😂 blocking was amazing, feel even more pronounced, but speed, or better said catapult was uncontrollable. forget about topspin, because it just pings and flies off into the distance … 🙈

it’s not european, but rather Chinese hybrid - Yasaka Rising Dragon, it was too small for AZXi and boosted it with intention to make it a bit bigger to fit Xiom’s Pro head size, and it reacted really nicely - 2 layers of Falco Tempo Long and it is a really really nice rubber!!
