Haven't played with Zyre myself (but I'm a battle 2 FH player, so there's almost zero chance it'll suit me), but a friend of mine recently switched to it (he's stronger than me (like I can beat him 1 out of 5 times probably)) and after some time he got used to it and the ball comes from him definitely with both - more speed and higher quality overall (before that he used 09C). But I've also seen players who switched and there were no such benefits. So it definitely needs adjustments in the feel/contact and will probably work with one technique better and worse with other. But when it works - I felt a definite improvement for my opponent and it became really harder for me against him.

Let’s not go back and forth with replies now. The goal isn’t to reach a consensus. We’re here on the forum to exchange opinions and impressions — nothing more, nothing less.
I’ll just briefly comment on the price: price has nothing to do with durability. In fact, there is a negative correlation between rubber quality and hi-performance durability. This applies to all rubbers — airplane tires, car tires, and table tennis rubbers. That’s what we were taught at university. Let’s not get into percentages of rubber/caoutchouc and similar details now…
So, the price is initially tied to only one thing, and that’s consumer perception. Later it adjusts based on supply and demand, and we’ll see that in the upcoming period.
Zyre is simply marketed as a new ground-breaking, disruptive innovation, while in reality that concept has existed for a long time. But this is Butterfly’s implementation, and that changes things to some extent.
I’m glad there are people who like it and see it as an improvement. For me, it’s a clear example of overhype.

I do agree. Mine is also 3 months in and it still looks relatively unmarked compared to other rubbers I tried. It seems as hardy as hurricane and that’s saying something

MXP-P is a great rubber, the only fault is it's durability of 2-3 weeks.

I hit hard, train a lot of time (everyday 2-3 hours) & play tournaments weekly and not I'm not kidding. If Thibar MX-P durability was 1 month or 1 month and half problably will be my main rubber for FH.

Part of the problem with MX-P is that it uses a short action high performance booster to enhance performance (you can tell from the smell). This doesn't matter over periods less than a month. But more than a month, you will inevitably have performance issues if you are relying on the best period of the rubber's performance to play your game.

Finally wore out a sheet of Zyre. Initial impression is at least 30% more durable for me than D05. Did see a big jump in serve spin (thanks to Spinsight for objective confirmation) when switching to a new sheet, so maybe I used the old sheet a little too long.

Problem with this is. Dignics(which dignics even?) also lasted as long if not longer but he had no spinsight to be really sure? Unless he has also a video about it idk.
All I know is my d09c lasts 7+ months easy.
When I did with Spinsight in WTT Frankfurt my peak with a random blade and random rubber was also around 128 average. So with my current Setup I am confident hitting 140s atleast aswell.
Btw does rps not also matter which phone you have? So prob those numbers are not comparable (always better to compare it with the same camera setup).

I also really like that idea but too bad it doesn't exist for android yet..

Since its about 30% more expensive than D05 then economically its pretty much the same long term in overall cost. Or am I calculating wrong?

Everyone loops the ball and wears sheets differently, a rubber that can last one month with a player may be good for another player. Your main point that for objectivity he needs to perform a similar test with Dignics does stand. The wear and tear with Dignics is very visible vs Zyre. But maybe visible wear and tear is not an objective measure of durability. And looping might not be the best measure of topsheet wear.

Seems like Zyre is gonna be my new forehand rubber thanks to this video. No reason to get H3 or other boosting dependent rubbers.

Finally found my Blade for Zyre 03. Going to use the Harimoto SZLC for the foreseeable future. Finally found a blade that I can slow spin with arc and confidence with Zyre. Just have to master and replicate the technique.

Interesting. Would have thought the super fast and low dwell of szlc would not suit the zyre 03

Or should I say reduce the lower dwell of the z
