First seeded player to lose in WS. Han Ying has been playing well this year against China but was no problem for He Zhuojia.

i like liang a lot but as he got older he lost a lot of his penetrating power. He used to absoloutly slaughter balls slightly over the net on both wings but now is a control player first and foremost

I think sido has a good chance as his off the table high intensity forehand style is something I think Liang Could struggle with. Albeit he is clearly the more skilled player and should win

Well his his ability to penetrate was what led to his beating of FanZendong who he famously overpowered by giving him extremely hard balls over the table and not allowing Fan to relax into it which clearly made him uncomfotable

This was in 17' and 20' though and as I said Liang cant give it as hard as he did back then, he also used to be more of a forehand player

lets not pretend we don't all think about JingKun Liang, especially just after we go to bed and give an offering of incense to the poster of him hung on the wall with the special valentines edition Loki ADC blade beneath.
Nah, my name is not Harimoto...
