Very tough match for Hina, but she found a way to win over Fan Shuhan. This was far tougher than her match against Nagasaki. Relatively young so her results are up and down, FSH still has big wins over Sato, KNY, KM, Zong Geman. FSH has big power in both wings and was outrallying Hina in the 1st half of the match. Big turning point was down 0-1,7-10 Hina wins 5 points in a row to tie up the match. She'll face SYB next who I'm sure will be eager to get her first win against Hina.

is Felix choking against Coton because of WR1 being at stake ?
Well, did the result change your mind? I think struggling with high risk, high reward players is normal and Felix is playing his first event with contacts and after a period of not playing. He struggled with Yoshimura as well, ranking is not the reason.

Truls is 24. Already a 2 time WTTC singles medalist, Olympic games silver medalist in singles and teams, and a Grand Smash title winner.

Someone may need to this reminder...
He may have loads of accolades, have been in the top 10 for ages and beaten basically eveyone at least a couple of times. But I have it on good authority from some random person on the internet as well as a translated exert from a coach when he was 7 that he in fact isn't very good at all.

I think its very king of YuBin Xu to let him have such a close game, it's kind.

He just hit a serve into the net.
Rank amateur.

1) Felix doesnt look like Felix without the glasses! Bring back the Harry Potter Look!1!

2) AHJ vs Hugo was another strange game, AHJ looked like he was trying to pull a Koki Niwa, not moving enough and trying to out-trick the opponent, but like Hugo is the worst player to play that style against, or maybe AHJ is injured and cant move like he needs to, the commentator also mentioned it.

3) The one match that needs actual discussion and maybe its own thread is Patrick Franziska vs Yuan Licen

First set Yuan dominates, was watching and thinking "damn it aint even close" and after than Franziska just doesnt allow him to attack the same way??? One interesting change is that Franziska switches forehand/backhand from 1st set but that doesnt seem relevant enough, theres some kind of strategy involved that disrupted Yuan but I dont have the knowledge to figure it out.

This competition even with the lack of top Chinese attending has been absolutely off the rails so far, it seems like there's so many super tight games which could go either way, just finished watching karrlson vs junsong and the quality is just crazzzzy. If the top 8 games are just as good I reckon it'll be tournament of the year!

AHJ has never beaten Hugo IIRC. Just for the record.
