Is there a way to boost them and glue them on a blade that not beeing used (just to try on different blades) without the booster effect disappearing?
Yes. Just make sure the time between removing the rubber from one and re-gluing it on another blade is not too long. If you manage that within the day you should be okay.

Is there an H3 that plays well out of the packet, that does not require boosting.?

Why do people boost it anyway?
Do DHS produce them knowing that they need boosting.
Why not produce them better so they don't need boosting.

I find it all confusing!

Nittaku Hurricane 3 Turbo Pro Blue Sponge is faster without boosting but weights more

I use a H3 prov Blue sponge, but i also have two national OS waiting. Is there a way to boost them and glue them on a blade that not beeing used (just to try on different blades) without the booster effect disappearing? If i put them in a tight plastig bag, would that help? The booster will evaporate even when thay are not in use, so thats why i am thinking of a close environment. It helps my ej not to have several blades and switching to often, but i am also to curious to check other blades. I dont want to bother with reboosting.

Air tight with food wrap. Do a few layers of wrap it will slow down the booster oil evaporation for months.

The boosting method I use is called the sandwich method I learned on a WeChat channel.

Glue --> Booster --> Booster --> 24hr --> booster --> Glue --> booster --> Glue etc

To give you an idea how to tell if H3 is properly boosted, see this picture (fully boosted 1 week ago with 4 layers on a 41 degree H3). It spins like crazy and the feedback is very nice.

This H3 41 was boosted with 4 layers 6 weeks ago:

Hi, this thread will be focused on a Hurricane 3 versions and everything around it in 2025? To make it clean for everyone. Preferred talk is Forehand rubber but Backhand is also appreciated
- Why 2025? there are informations that some versions are not tacky anymore, not performing like older batches. Do Batches still differ from sheet to sheet in 2025?
- Is Hurricane 3 still worth buying and boosting in 2025? Or is just better to stick with Dignics09c?
- Hurricane 3 versus Victas Triple Double Extra / Battle 2 / Nittaku Hurricane 3 Turbo Pro blue / Dignics09c / Donic Bluestar C2
- How do you re-boost your rubber? / How many times till it's dead? Does National version last longer with re-boosts?
- best shop with genuine Hurricane 3 rubbers for the best price in 2025? (is prott.vip selling genuine Hurricane rubbers? Prott offers national blue sponge for about 54$ its cheaper than TT11, also cheaper glues, national boosters etc. I personally bought W968 national player, but I received what I believe is still Gold Grand Slam version, this one is in the handle from the bottom with red background Ma Long, which I also saw Ma Long playing with this red background in 2024 in a video versus Fan Zhendong, but Prott claims Gold Grand Slam version is different and this is National Player version).

Any most useful info is appreciated, even how many layers of which booster you use on which exact hardness and thickness sheet with comparisons.
Preferred answers should be from more experienced players so we get together most valid informations, especially players who tried multiple variations and different rubbers.
Cheers.

I've played at least 5 versions of H3, D09C, TDE and Nittaku Pro blue. H3 provincial is the BEST value for its performance.

D09C - arc too high, not enough control near the net but easier to play. Lacks the power vs H3 away from table.
TDE - topsheet is great but the sponge lacks power away from table unless boosted. But the sponge has less capacity for booster (i.e. easily overkilled)
Nittaku Pro blue - way too hard and way too heavey. Would not recommend

Is it worth going from D09c forehand to Hurricane 3? considering it has to be boosted all the time. I personally never played with Hurricane's also never boosted rubber.

D09C responds really well to Seamoon booster. I boosted mine after a year and the sponge came alive so well. You will save money if you learn boosting. Seriously boosting isn't hard or troublesome. Just need to plan ahead a few days before you need to play the rubber.

In my experience Seamoon booster works really well on:
  • All Dignics rubbers
  • All Tenergy rubbers
  • All Xiom black sponges

Agreed for the most part, but real national player version is wildly different from what you can purchase commercially, but not at a level that it affects anyone who is asking those types of questions on a forum. For most amateur and even low level pro players, the provincial versions would suffice perfectly fine. This statement holds true for any rubber not just Hurricane.

Commercial is shit. Hurricane QC is worse than most other brands rubbers. It's also prone to bubbling if you boost and hit hard.

Yes agree. Some fans tested the named H3 versions (e.g. Chen Meng and Ma Long). The quality is out of this world. The topsheet is also custom made.

Chen Meng's topsheet is 43 degree but the sponge is 40.

Ma Long's topsheet is 41 degree but the sponge is 42.

When compared to the commercial National H3, the named H3 feels easier to break in and gives better feedback. It was kind of confirmed when Dan played Ma Long's blade.

The Chinese fans test all kind of equipment and post on Bilibili.

Thank you for your review, I've seen you on other threads... I went from Tenergy 05 to Dignics09c on the FH, from what I read, and I got what I wanted, I still like it, but many said Hurricane 3 is great and I would like to try Blue Sponge 40 degree, lot of people say I should not go with 41 degree that it would be very hard? not sure where D09c is with the hardness versus H3, but I would like it to be harder than 09c, so I would go H3 blue sponge 40' and I wanted to go initially with National but if Provincial is same, I would save money here, is it good to order from prott.vip? he has cheapest prices, next for booster I choosed Haifu National Yellow, is this the best? With this one two layers should be enough, I play 5-6 days a week + some with home robot, how long will booster last? still 6-8 weeks? after it's gone how many times I can re-apply booster till its worth to use it? wondering if its actually cheaper than D09c but with all the glues boosters new sheets not sure if its really cheaper

Start with H3 provincial orange sponge 40 degree ($30USD) + National Seamoon yellow ($45USD for 120mL). My yellow oil has lasted 3 years. But I only play 1-2 times a week though.

If you play 5-6 days a week the booster effect will only last for about 5 weeks.

Reboost with 2 thin layers.

You can reboost it 2 more times.

So the $30 H3 sheet can last you 15 weeks.

If you only use H3, you need 3 sheets ($90) for a year. If you play D09C you might need 2-3 sheets.

Trust me, you could barely notice you've used the booster oil. You only need to apply thin layers.

D09c feels like H3 Pro Orange H40 to me, If you want to start with H3 on FH, I suggest you try H3 pro blue H39 first, H40 is the norm but still hard for whom not used to Chinese feel. After a year if you feel comfortable with it you can try H40 or H41. I usually apply 1 layer of Haifu at the first glueing, then maybe reglue after 2 weeks

As I mentioned that I play almost every day, should I get spare Hurricane, boost the one, use it, and when the effect will be about diminish, I will boost other one, and fast-swap them? because boosting takes hours and hours.

not necessary that long, I even sometimes glue it after 3 hours and the effect is noticeable, but usually I boost it the night before then glue it next morning

I often get 3-5 sheets per order. There’s no expiration since you’re boosting.

yes but I think that with 2 layers it takes more time between layers
according to reviews, the time for the topsheet to absorb the oil is about 3 hours, so I use it as guidelines, you can experience it yourself, after all boosting is suit to each person's taste

Good, I ordered one Provincial and one National sheet, to see if its worth National or not... have you tried for comparison Xu Xin's Powerplay Xuperman?

No but I read some reviews on Bilibili. Apparently it feels similar to Battle 2 blue sponge which is mediocre. So I skipped it.

Hello. I have tried h3 blue sponge 40deg boost it 3 layers and after 1 month, no spin and tackiness, the ball just slips. I am very disappointed since it's not that cheap, and tried tenergy 05, haha. But, I want the tackiness of the dhs h3. that is why I am also looking for thread like this.

I don't know if I overboost it?
or accidentally drop a booster on topsheet?
or maybe I used cheap rubber cleaner??

Have anyone experience these?

Now, I keep on reading threads if what will I do now since I am so disappointed with DHS Hurricane, I am tired of boosting routine, yet as I have read in other threads, no other rubbers can be better than a boosted hurricane 3.

I've only experienced slippage with the rubber cleaners, especially foam - IMO water is the best cleaner for rubbers. Maybe you can try cleaning it with water and put a protective sheet then let's see 1 or 2 days after
