Hi,

I used to play with an all-wood acoustic blade paired with Fastarc G1, but now I’m looking to increase speed. I really liked the Harimoto ALC, but the head size didn’t suit me. Considering it’s on sale, is it worth trying the hurricane acb?
Coming from Acoustic within the DHS range I would look at the Golden Slam Hurricane Long 5, unless you really want koto outwr. But it is also head heavy.

Other inner fibers close to Acoustic Im also considering are Hayata H2, Donic Xtreme, and Jinshi KLC PRO.

Whenever u are ready to glue ur paddle, u boost. And yes, open the rubber package, peel off the white shell off the sponge (not the protective film for the top sheet in my opinion but it’s up to you) and then start the boosting process like i mentioned above
Ah ok so you remove the glue film of the neo sponge ? That's new for me. Why do you do this ?

Just the white sheet covering the sponge, not the pre applied glue. Just stick booster on it right away, no need for an additional layer of glue before boosting

I notice it's a koto-inner structure like the 301 series. The acB has only blue arylate (+ carbon), probably closer to 301T which has yellow and blue arylate. I wonder how it differs from the 301T in performance? Looking from the price, is it safe to assume that the acB has tighter QC overall?

The acB has an ALC very similar to Butterfly and is probably faster than 301T (can’t confirm this, it’s only based on their composition). The price is the cheapest of the DHS Hurricane Blade series so I would assume it is less QC but so far I have had no experience with any sort of blade damage yet, we’ll see what happens when it’s time to reboost my rubbers. Tbh, Koto is less hard than Limba which is why all the other commercial blades like Long 5, King WCQ, and Sha all splinter rather easily since they are limba. Let’s see how it is with the Xiang Peng

So I could not resist the price I got in the singles sale event (AliExpress) and ordered to try to see how is against the Ovtcharov alc & Sanwei 75 inner I have. I asked to 87-90 g but they shipped the lightest the had 93g includes the film, I hope it will not be too heavy for me...

I've just received my ac-B and the frequency is around 1400hz, 87gm blade
QC is pretty good for this blade, smooth finishing and blade surface is way better than H301T and H301z.

Handle size is around the same as DHS H301T.
Interesting, sanwei inner 75 is 1450.

Maybe sanwei is faster
