D05 is a rubber on BH that you can caress the ball. Keep caressing and shape the arc. It feels stable and listens to daddy.

D64 is more like a hit and run thingy. Wham bam see you later ma'am kinda thing!

I tried D05 before on backhand and it requires wrist involvement. MX-P and MX-P 50 are more forgiving on flat hits. Haven't tried D64, but if it plays similar to MX-P and lasts longer I might give it a shot.
D05 definitely requires somewhat active play for blocking because of the way the pips are oriented, D80 and D64 are improvements in that regard, and for me, that is the biggest reason I am comfortable with D80 vs D05, I am not good enough to read spin and change my angle all the time.

How's Zyre 03? Are you feeling more comfortable with it versus D05?

I was never really into D05, I found it a bit too slow (high arc) and spin sensitive for my tastes. Vs D80, Zyre is a bit of a different animal, the contact time is short, but the spin is higher than D80 with the right contact and the speed is about the same or higher as well. The thing with Zyre is that there is that shot where you go hell yeah and then there are some shots where you go WTF... I think in the end, the quick ball release discourages lazy play and it is worth getting used to the contact point adjustments if you put in the time. But if you want a quick fix and you are used to the slow ball release of Dignics, the solution is not going to be fast or easy for you. But I think liking D80 made it slightly easier for sure. The flat play of Z03 is better for me as I like hard sponge, it takes a higher level of spin for you to be bothered, you feel like you are playing with short pips sometimes when the opponent isn't putting heaving spin on the ball for you to respect.

How does the Zyre03 compare to sliced bread? I was thinking of upgrading from White to Wheat, but should I just skip straight to Zyre? 🤔 I want something that can hold up to a lot of mayo and cold cuts, but I don't like my sandwiches to be too tough, either.

Sounds like Zyre 03 would solve OP's FH lack of speed problem

Oh yes! D64 surely is faster than D05. But if it is speed you want, there is the Bryce Highspeed, which is above D64 in the speed axis. See pic below:

True, but BHS arc is marked 46, while D05 is 88. So maybe OP wants to keep the high arc just wants the ball to land closer to the end of opponent's table.
If this is the case; high speed with spin...then:

does D64 is easier to open up vs D05 against backspin? I found D05 on FZD bit difficult to open from FH side
I tried now both D64 and D05. D64 has a lower arc and more length than D05. In theory D05 is safer to loop against backspin. Though for FH I would suggest D09c because it has that nasty propulsion after touching opponent's table. Or Glayzer 09c if you want more control and don't mind longer rallies.

Just read through this thread.
I'd be very interested to know your level?
In reading it seems that you find D05 too slow on a FZD blade.
Seriously, who thinks D05 is too slow?
And then you are wondering about looping V backspin with these mega expensive and high performance rubbers....???
If you can't loop backspin with your FH using D05 then I have to assume you have no business using FZD and Dignics at all.
I reckon dropping the super fast (not slow) equipment and finding the right racket for your level is going to be the best way forward for you, along with some coaching so that looping V backspin with your forehand is never an issue again.
