I know some people like to pull the rubber a little bit when they glue it onto the blade. Does this change the throw angle?

After gluing hundreds of rackets...I have a very vague impression that by stretching the rubber, it lowers the throw angle a little bit. But I'm not 100% certain.

Does anybody else know for sure or from experience?

Hi,

I also think as you. My liking is not to stretch the rubber. I tihnk it reduces spin capability of the rubber and also makes the rubber throw the ball more direct.

Undoubtably, manual stretching on rubber sheet would affect the ball ballistics dramatically.

I have experimented with this with tacky Chinese rubbers. I also get the sense that it lowers throw angle -- this might be because the ball has less contact time with the sticky rubber, and so you can't lift the ball as much.

Maybe tensor rubbers behave differently when you stretch them, idk. I haven't experimented with that.
