Double Fish Project-Z: New blade for Zhou QiHao Made in Korea

Ordered a ZQH Project Z off of Prott. Going to put my favourite H3 Neo Blue Sponge for my FH and my second favourite Andro NUZN 55 for my BH, which I will change to 09c later after I go to Japan in September. Will update with my thoughts and comparisons to my old tag Viscaria soon

Way ahead of you, although i am still not sure what bh rubber i stick with it. Currently testing Stiga DNA hybrid, dragon power and victas v22 de.

Project Z has a bit more feeling because of its slightly more dwell time compared to my pro 01 and a slightly higher throw.
Surprisingly it might have a bigger sweet spot as well but it is hard to say. Even the other advantages are quite little.

The biggest advantage vor me is the handle. It feels the same as fzd alc which i love.
Better feeling and a more natural bounce makes it quite lovely for me.

Buuuut im still testing and playing with it for about 2-3 weeks now. Im quite sure i might stick with it for the next season but my experience is not really in depth i would say.

That sounds real promising, I love FZD ALC so wonder how it will compare to my old vis. How heavy is your Project Z? I asked prott if he can find a 84-86g one. And what is your forehand rubber?

I wonder how this plays compared to the Joola ZQH ARY-C 90
Probably slower, since Joola is Super ALC and this seems to be a Viscaria like blade

H3 BS
Mine is 89,6g.

My setups are usually quite heavy. The current one is 200g as well^^

When will you send the review? I wanna buy this blade or TBS but I am not sure that which one should I get.
My review won’t come for another week or two as I need to borrow my friends booster since I ran out of my own. I would recommend you to just get the Project Z. It is cheaper the TBS and I think it would be a fantastic blade.

This is my short review for the Project Z. I used H3 Neo BS 41 degrees boosted 3 layers for FH (ProTT sent me the wrong hardness, I asked for 39 smh), and NUZN 55 for BH. It feels very much like a Viscaria, maybe ever so slightly slower and more spinny, but nothing crazy. The handle is beautifully designed and quite comfortable to hold unlike other Viscaria alternatives, and the weight distribution actually felt balanced, which I much prefer for Vis type blades. It does feel slightly stiffer than my old tag Viscaria, but I had a very nice feeling top spin and short game with the Project Z. Overall, a very easy to play, almost 1:1 Viscaria/FZDALC clone and one that’s 100% worth the money to buy, equal to current Butterfly blades but not quite to the level of my old tag Viscaria.
