So I'm getting a new setup for my shakeyhand friend for his birthday.
He plays with an aggresive block any recomendations? Is a pimple rubber good for him?

I don’t want to interfere but usually tt gifts are not good idea, except you know your friends dream blade/rubber.

If you insist, it might be safer to go well known/popular options or spend all budget to a single blade than setup or alternatively bat case etc.

If he's a beginner and has no custom Setup yet, get him a typical beginner setup.

All+ to of- allwood blade with rubbers without to much tensor effect.

Stiffer blades tend to work better with blocking strategies, so I would consider a 7ply.

Stay away from pimple rubbers while learning IMO
