LAC 40d feels like B2 39.5d.. so I guess LAC 41d will be equal to B2 40.5d 😛
Similar actually, I just hit with it for my warm up and the LAC topsheet is softer than B2, and the sponge is a bit bouncier. Not sure if it needs any break in, I feel like it does.

I haven't heard of it, but I just ordered a sheet of Rxton 3 Pink to try on BH. like the blue version more but I heard it's too hard
How is Rxton 3? I quite like Rxton 5, but I have the sense that Rxton 1 and 3 are not to the same level. That they are designed as easier rubbers to play, but not the same power.

Rxton 3 and Rxton 3 blue/pink are not the same rubbers, at least they have different sponges.

But in a simple description, how do they play? I would call Rxton 5 a very hard, tacky rubber similar to H3 but slightly bouncier.

I used to have Rxton 1, which I would call a softer and toned down H3, like H3 37. Not fast, but not too dead either.

I've never tried Rxton 3 or pink/blue

Battle 2 is more direct, it doesn't arc the ball as much by default. It has a more uncomfortable arc for the opponent.

LAC is pretty good actually, I think it did need a good workover to break in just a bit but it did it fairly quickly. It's not like some rubbers where you need to put in many hours. The only thing I don't like about it is the weight. On the W968 with G-1 on backhand the setup was 197g. That is a lot. That being said it was super powerful on FH side. Maybe a little bit too much arc by default with W968 but it did make some insane shots from below the table possible and playing 3rd ball killers is easy. And it was safe as well.
I think I will shift it over to the Sanwei PBO since that blade is lighter 6g lighter and faster too and just use it with G09c on BH.

Besides the weight, I really didn't feel like I'd rather play with D09c or a blue sponge H3 or whatever. The topsheet quality is very good, it's a very nice rubber and the sponge is alright too. I just hope it will be durable.

Hi Tony, been following your post about loki before, i spoked with a brand representative & its true they seem to aim for respectable price & quality products, they came off to me like a serious and professional brand open to new ideas. im expecting a sample package to try some of their lineup.

Now that the wtt world championship is over Did you find time to test the new RXTON 9 & 7 you sneak peeked on another thread? This representative said to me the Rxton 7 is "similar to D09C" while Rxton 9 "is similar to Neo" (im assuming H3 Neo) what do u think about them?
i also asked for plans on more euro style rubbers and they give me some news about 2 new spikes/pimples series they will launch next month, the TELSON 450 & 475: 450 "is astringent(i assume they mean grippy topsheet not tacky) soft ligth elastic, close to proton 450 of GEWO and Donic F1.
475 "Close to XIOM Vega & Butterfly Rozena" So it appears they are looking to compete & fill some gap in that market too. Love to hear your opinion if you have any information about these new products.
i have high hopes for their young brand energy since they seem to be looking to expand on the latin american and other markets too where price/performance are crucial.
Hey Matt,

Do you have any idea the price range they are planning to sell the Telson 475 for? If they indeed make a tensor-style rubber for cheaper than Rozena, I would definitely be interested in trying it. I actually think Rozena is a really good rubber and underappreciated. Vega I quite like as well, but its been coming up in price.

Is Rxton 7/9 launching at the same time as Telson?

got an offer I could not refuse so ordered my Arthur china today.
Got sucked in again you bastards 🤣 but if it is as good as the
Dingtiang BS it will be worth the money and I might start selling all my Rxton5 and my H3 and neos.

Now would be a good time to ask you to make a short comparison between the
Dingtian BS and the LAC please.

Hi un sorry but i dont have any information besides the "codename" and comparison with other rubbers my agent told me. I can ask her but like Tony Said it takes Time and testing before they release a new product, and even if they register the stamp in the ittf larc it isnt guaranteed the rubber Will go into the market. My Guess Is rxton 7 & 9 Will launch first since they already tested with pro chinese players and coaches and the marketing Is probably already defined.

They are different. Dingtian needs boosting, but it's very easy to boost. 2 layers of FTL on the sponge directly and you are set. From Dingtian you can choose hardness while with LAC you are in the mercy of the shop. Maybe one can send a message to them what you want but since the package has no hardness info on it they are probably clueless too unless the "bigger" box they are shipped in has some label.
Dingtian boosted is "crazy super fast". If you put that sucker on an outer carbon blade you will overshoot everything. It only works on DHS HL5 type blades I think. Durability is excellent for me, 3 or 4 times reboosted and no bubbles, the topsheet looks like new. It has blue sponge! I mean that must be at least 2-3 points advantage mentally.

LAC, no need to boost. Not as fast but more stable and controllable. I feel like it has more spin and arc by default. It really plays like D09c in my opinion, in many ways better than BTY's "best". On W968 it has a lot of arc and a lot of spin, and I like that a lot. I am saying that maybe I will switch it to a faster blade that is lighter but I am having so much doubts about that. It feels excellent on the W968 and I guess that is why @Attitude likes it on the VSEA too. I might just change the G-1 to the G09c since G09c is about 4-5g lighter than G-1...
Speed varies honestly, I can hit very fast shots with it, sure not as fast as with a faster blade with a faster rubber, but placement! With LAC I have placement. I can hit from anywhere to everywhere. That is not speed, but if the opponent has no idea where it goes they are losing precious milliseconds just reacting and I feel that is a much bigger difference than the extra speed of a faster setup.
LAC is better for serving and receiving.

LAC is great on W968, I am very confronted now. I like it on that blade a lot, I think I will just put G09c instead of G-1. W968 is a weird blade, it is kinda slow sometimes but fast in other times.

Cheers mate.
I got my BS Dingtian 38 on a carbon inner right now. I have not boosted the rubber because I bought it to try a rubber that does not need boosting, in comparison with H3 and Rxton 5 that DO NEED boosting.

looking forward to receiving my LAC, I bought it from GOO shop.

So you said Telson is launching in July. So the Rxton 7/9 launch must be very close, right? Do you know when you will get your hands on some?

Dingtian absolute fracking needs boosting. Without it it's like blue H3 non-Neo. It's deader than a Texas salad bar.
Dunno who told you it doesn't need boosting but you need to send them a ticking letter.

I got mine from the "Loki Official Store". I am genuinely F curious who the hell makes these rubbers. There is no way every brand has its own rubber factory. Sure DHS has its own in Shanghai, 729 in Tianjin, Yinhe and possibly Double Fish. I seriously doubt Young Shine, Loki or Pinyi, Sword, Sanwei doesn't just subcontract these manufacturers. I just have this weird feeling that Loki is a DHS made topsheet, possibly Dingtian too since both are related to ex DHS contract players Wang Hao and Guo Yan and I would imagine they have a relationship with DHS. Especially Wang Hao since from all the CNT players ever he always seemed to be the smartest by far.
The sponges are an absolute crapshoot, I can imagine some virgins cooking them up in their granny's basement and selling them to big brands.

I tried Rxton 1, just started playing with Rxton 5, ordered Rxton 3 pink and blue but haven't played with them yet.
Rxton 1 for me is the CJ8000 in 40+ era. Affordable all-round backhand rubber.
I would not call my Rxton 5 very hard or very tacky. It is bouncier and less tacky than Sanwei Target Provincial 3 (39 deg), which feels much closer to classic Chinese rubber to me. Rxton 5 feels similar to Jupiter 3 38 deg, maybe a tad slower and higher arc.
