I recently purchased a Joola K5 blade (I won't mention the supplier at this point) and have a suspicion that it might be fake. What leads me to think that it's fake is the handle. The handle has been described to have 'a unique JOOLA RAG (Round about Grip) grip construction that gives an even better feeling between the blade and hand and the absorbent honeycomb integral to the handle additionally reduces vibration'.

The 'honeycomb' technology on my blade is clearly just a sticker which can be seen through the plastic bubble! I remember a club-mate playing with the original version of this blade (around 2001) and I'm pretty sure there was a honeycomb pattern properly integrated into the bubble.

Does anyone have a recent version of this blade that they can check and confirm how it is constructed? (Photos would be great)

To demonstrate the difference, I have attached a picture of the blade from the Joola catalogue which shows what I believe the handle should be like.

I have also attached a picture of the blade being sold on Ali Express which has the 'sticker' version I have.
(I get the impression that this product is manufactured in China but can anyone confirm where Joola actually has them made?)
EDIT: Attaching the picture has decreased the quality so much it's hard to see what I'm referring to. Here's a link to a larger picture: https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1XodS...aq6xUlXXar.jpg?width=750&height=536&hash=1286

I'd also be interested to know how common fake products are in general if anyone has any knowledge of the subject.
