I would say vega europe for the BH as Mark V is a bit of an old gen rubber, in my opinion

That will be good choices. Mark V or Vega Europe would be fine for BH. The blade and FH rubbers are excellent choices as well. Good work doing the research to find a setup that will really help you develop and grow as a player.

When you have it and have used it for a week or so, you have to let us know how it works for you and give a bit of a review of your weapon.

Thank you, I wouldn't of known where to start if it weren't for everyone's advice, I would of got something way beyond my skill level and not developed as I would of liked too. I'll definitely give a bit of a review once I get it and have a few knock abouts with it.

Thanks to Fa1c0n for this thread and peoples feedback.

I have also been looking for something similar as I play similar offensive style as Fa1c0n and looking for something that can take me to intermediate level and possible more as I don't intend to change bat setup for a long while.

Yakasa Sweden Extra with Vega Pro/Europe makes sense.

I was originally looking to use the Tibhar PW as the blade after reading some good reviews.

How do the two blades compare in sped and control ?

Also would the Vega rubber setup work equally well with Tibhar as it has different wood layers ?

Both the Yasaka Sweden Extra and the Tibhar Stratus Power Wood would work just fine with those rubbers. And they are both excellent blades. 6 of this half a dozen of that.

Hey everyone, was just looking at the options for the rubbers, and was wondering what sponge thickness would be best, I remember reading somewhere that for an intermediate player I shouldn't go no more than 2.0mm. Is this true or would it be safe to use 2.1 mm sponges?

If your goal is to spin more, there are advantages to thicker, like max! Thicker rubbers can help encourage you to brush, use the sponge and topsheet and spin more.

If you hit more than you spin and don't see a reason to change that, then thinner works better.

If you are able to hit and spin at will, then thickness is entirely a subjective choice based on preference.
