I see you have the foil on. The videos I watched they said its actually important to remove that topsheet foil.
It had a dome but not sure how if it was "big enough". It just has a slight dome nothing crazy
its optional, some people does it, some doesn't
for me, it doesn't really matter
it won't affect the stretch, since the dome is into the topsheet (thus being smaller than the sponge)

and what decides how long I need to wait for the last layer? 12-24h is a big gap.

it all depends on your weather conditions.
just see if the sponge is no longer oily, it is normally between 12~24h
ok yeah its done I think.

ready to glue I kind of want to test it on my main feels bad having to remove the d09c new sheet of just 3 weeks

do you have 2 W968 blades?
no this one is too expensive ~750€. I got it for my birthday. And it will be my last one its too expensive xD
my prior is a long 5 commercial even that was expensive "enough".

Yeah they are real expensive!! And that is an issue when you want to test equipment!!

A question to ask yourself is whether the upgrade in cost between the long 5 and W968 is worth the ‘upgrade’ in your performance when using the W968 compared to the Long 5?

TT11 has the long 5 @ €155 & W968 @ €573 you can buy 3+ Long 5’s for the cost of one W968

When going down the boosted route, time can be a factor when preparing your racket. If you have a busy schedule preparing the racket can sometimes be an issue to get it done in time. That’s when having 2 identical set up’s is advantageous. You always have a spare in case of damage and you can test on one when necessary.
Having never used a W968 I don’t know how different it is to a Long 5, but maybe you could test on the Long 5 and then transfer to the W968.

Yes I think if my blade breaks I might go for another long 5 again or a butterfly blade.
I especially enjoy the handle I have my long 5 straight and w968 in flared. And this w968 is player version so it costs a bit more than the normal w968.
I already glued it on my w968 now and will test it today. It's gonna be in a different club though (each hall plays a little different). There is some difference but mainly because of handle difference and I think I have more feedback with the long 5 but I like the flared handle more now.

But I would say mostly its placebo the fact it costed so much more so it has to be better.

putting too thin layer, it won't absorb enough oil
putting too much is also a problem

you can wait 12 hours and see.
if the sponge is dry and not oily, you can add another layer on if there haven't been much dome/reaction

you do have a 39 deg, which is soft, some over doing it would make it very soft.

and btw, you have the Haifu Seamoon oil. This is not yellow, Haifu Yellow is different.
the Seasmoon isn't hardcore, so that is why I suggest a 3rd layer if you felt the first two are too thin.

it is normal the first layer won't do that much dome.

the below is about 1 hour after putting the 2nd layer using Haifu national yellow oil.
you are also welcome to use a bottle in the center like I did,

what would actually happen if you overboost?
for example, I have an old h3n blue sponge 39 degree that I used for about 4 months now. originally boosted with medium-thick 2 layers

can I go for another thin layer to put some new life into that old rubber? if its overboosted, would it just be slightly too soft or does the rubber become unplayable?

1) sponge already over boost then it wont react anymore to the new layer you putting on
2) it will get too soft

You can add a layer to give it some life

Вoosting is an iffy thing, you can never expect two results alike. Trashy players don't need stable results, though. 😛 Trashy players, hoooo do prefer trashy materials. Bold humor, sorry.

STINKY CHAMPIONS.
A just retired rubber engineer once told me that the best effective rubber enhancement is only possible by factory bathing sponge sheets into a hot oil. Heh, DHS do favour China national players over all the others. Yes, some Chinese champions did incurred mishaps at times throught overdoing too much with boosters, of those WCQ the Golden Boy is the most renowned sly across all the globe.

From my limited use of boosters, one thing you may find is that you get different results regarding how the rubber / sponge plays / performs after boosting. As with everything practice makes perfect.
Another reason for the spare bat. You can boost 1 sheet and just stick the other sheet straight on and compare.

You may find that the rubber shrinks when you take it off to re-boost it.
Some cut the rubber larger than the blade to allow for some shrinkage.

I’ve seen factory treated rubbers shrink by 3-5mm when removed from the bat!!!

I tested boosting a couple of sheets to see what happened dimensionally, measuring the sheets and they both expanded by 2mm in both the vertical and horizontal axis.

H3n vs D09c Training Session
How can I fix my forehand backswing? I go from closed to open against block. Against long backspin balls my brain automatically opens up the racket more.
I watched the first 3 minutes and what i saw what very different from what i was expecting.
My memory of playing Nittaku Huricane 3 Turbo Blue unboosted was it being very hard and lower throw. I expected to see at least anything similar to what i experienced, but what i saw was a higher throw quite bouncy rubber. Considering the times you overshot the table even though you are standing nearly 4 feet away from the table and not doing a big fast arm swing but rather a gimped swing with youre backswing not even straightening your elbow joint i would guess you probably overdid it with the booster. When you found the angle you could repeatedly loop the ball, but in a match you will need to be on point from the first loop.
I dont know if it appears later in the video but i would want to see you loop half long underspin balls very close to the table. No point using a rubber you can only use from a far.
