Some say that old balls were highly flammable. Is this true? Have someone seen table tennis ball exploding or igniting when playing? Just feels so impossible.
Flammable just means that it's easy to catch on fire and to burn. But the cell balls were not sensitive unless exposed to the proper conditions

'almost' 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, it should be “never”. But never say never 😅

When I was young we were wrapping broken balls with baking foil then heating so it was starting to smoking.

Only possible scenario I can imagine could be leaving balls on top of front of car, then leaving under sun where 45-50 degree about 3-4 hours. Then maybe it could ignite and start smoking.

Because our venue was really really hot and dry, still none of balls was ignited, even with robot.

But it could be entertaining to watch balls gets fired after top pro’s hit 😬
