Your dedication is admirable mister! I think its time for multiball feeding and more complicated exercises. His backhand is very good, his FH is also very consistent but I ve spotted a small "mistake". He doesnt turns his waist correctly from his left foot to the right. Most of the time he struggles to exert power by lifting his weight upwards (especially mid distance and away from the table). It is a common "subconscious" move that many players execute and it is inefficient.

He should turn his waist explosively (around his body axis) simultaneously with his forearm snap which is perfect. This will make the FH topspin very easy for him to execute and far more effective. Most of the time he uses only his forearm snap which is good but, transfering his weight and rotating his waist will give him much more consistent and powerful shots

Footwork is absolutely great, I hope we can admire him as a pro one day

Fred does actually do quite a bit of multiball with the regional coach and plenty of more complicated regular and irregular exercises. I do agree that his forehand could do with a little tuning particularly away from the table.

Woah! Fred is now 10? :) Time is flying haha! Happy birthday to Fred! It's great to see his improvement! He will soon be at the age to join us in our discussions :)

Great work guys!

What I like about Fred's game is he trys to take the ball early which is great! Do you have any videos of Fred in competition? Does he have a National Ranking yet... Are we watching a future Michael Maze here :)

I would also recommend one more thing. When he forehand topspins, I personally think he should start with his elbow a little lower, straighten his hand out a little, and also not end it with the elbow so high? Do you understand?

It would be nice to upload a video of Fred during a match. This way we could see his overall behaviour/technique and make some suggestions

Yes sometimes he raises his elbow too high, this is perfect technique for close to the table play but when he is in mid distances he needs to have a bigger swing stretching his arm like you said
