I start this thread to highlight to wonderful efforts and development of youth in the East bay California area.
Der_Echte coaches part time in one of the area's big time youth training clubs - Freemont TTC.
I get to see the developing talent growing there.
Head Coach Shashin does so many things to motivate and tell the stories of the youth developing serious TT skillz at his training club.
I start with one of the unheralded players "A".
She is pre-teen/early teen player who at the table in training looks like she is not trying very hard and not very interested. Do NOT let that deceive you at your own risk. She has already achieved enough scholastically in her own right. She is fully capable of blasting balls by you flat hit style if you do not be the aggressor in the rally, she will be the silent assassin if you permit his. She stands at the endline looking like she will not clobber you, but if you do not hit loaded shots, she will slap you into submission.
This is a preliminary peak into what is going on in this club.
I went to US Nations with 7 of these young warriors and have many more tales to tell.
I will not post pictures or names unless the named players wish.
