Nah, Coton is too young to compete for LA 2028 and he doesn't combine well with Alexis and Felix. The experts on French table tennis have spoken. @PoppaChubby this is correct?

Yes, just like KCJ signing with Andro signaled that all the pros have realized that European companies have surpassed Asian companies especially Butterfly in every possible way. Europe is the best!

Kao using T05 hard during Macao. BH looks like it might be the same.

When I see who plays in the French and German leagues, I have my reservations about the Belgian and Dutch leagues, or rather, about the clubs in both countries. What a sad state of affairs in these supposedly wealthy countries that are struggling to find sponsors.

Tony getting a hard-on over a young French after arguing with Olduser or Music & Ping that French table tennis had not achieved much is both funny and weird at the same time...
95% sure that @OldUser and @PoppaChubby were the same character, one has just been erased from existence somehow whether a name change or lterally erased.

While viewing French tournament (https://www.youtube.com/live/36QW1lPqOg4?feature=shared) I clicked on the German league (
).

Maybe just my imagination but the play in the German leagued seemed way more aggressive. Is there a German way/philosophy of playing TT vs French way of playing TT? (Like Chinese style is different to Euro).

Hennebot’s lineup looks cray stacked to me. 2 rising CNT, 1 decent senior CNT, a French magician, and two amazing dark horse russians
yep, with a full force, it would be one of the strongest roster in Europe.

What I like about the German and French league is, there are quite a few teams that are just so strong on paper, and it is impossible to tell which one will win the league.
Unlike say the Chinese super league - it is almost a given which 4 teams will be in the semi final and which will be in the final/winner.

Hennebot has the depth too, so if any main player is injured or can't play, the reserves are pretty strong too.

Pontoise wanted a reserve to Liam's injury, but there was just not enough time (or rather all the good players have signed)

I was closed to putting a playing in LNTT, they ended up going for Xu Yingbin

How often does ZQH play a lower-ranked foreigner and look like he has the weaker forehand lol? Florian the Freak!

not sure if this is Chinese fashion now or what, but both FZD and ZQH had terrible opening matches.

It's sad indeed. Our league is just a stepping stone towards other countries. It's not like we don't have the wealth, but it's just not invested in table tennis whatsoever.
Government and sponsor money goes to the big sports: football, cycling, speed skating and even the latter two are a stretch.
Discus World Championship women's silver medalist is still unable to find a sponsor. That tells you enough about the state of sports here I guess.
