From Fastarc G1 to Hybrid

Hi folks, I've been using the Cybershape Carbon with G1 on FH and Moristo SP on BH for a few months and would like to try something new on my FH.

I'm looking for a hybrid rubber that I could easily transition from G1.
Initially I thought about G09c because it's more controlled than D09c but this might be too slow compared to G1.
I was also considering something like NUZN 50. Any other recommendations?

About me: intermediate player, started training 2.5 years ago, IDK my USTT because I'm not from the US.
I enjoy looping with my fh and controlling the game with BH, mostly by punch blocking.

Alright, after this post's tremendous success I decided to pull the trigger and transitioned from the Fastarc G1 to NUZN 50 on my fh.

Overall I'm super happy with the new rubber, it's definitely a step up in terms of spin potential without sacrificing control. Here's a short review of the NUZN 50:

1. It feels softer than 50 degrees, it's much closer to G1 than I expected in terms of hardness.
2. The short game is much much better, because NUZN 50 does not have the same catapult effect as G1 it's much easier to control short pushes.
3. It does require a more active stroke and overall playstyle. Since it lacks that big catapult effect you really have to engage in certaing shots to deliver quality balls.
4. Control and spin sensivity is similar to G1 which is a huge plus.
5. The rubber is not tacky at all! Extremely grippy but I thought it was going to be more similar to Chinese rubbers

Like I mentioned super happy with the new rubber!

I own & enjoy also the NZUN 50, the rubber is sticky like D09C so better after each use left the plastic foil attached to the rubber to avoid oxidation & rubber will have better duration.

N.B. I did the same transition from G-1 to NZUN 50 & very happy also.

Let's see how is the duration of the rubber, I didn't expect the same duration like Fastarc G-1 but if it's 2-3 months I will be happy.

It's still early to say but things are looking good!

One of my training partners is using NUZN 55 for the past few months and the rubber looks pretty good. It's not a brittle rubber and the grip is still there.
I'm guessing it's not as durable as G1, but I don't think durability is a concern. I'd say above average durability but nothing crazy!

I haven't used NUZN, but I am using Rasanter R50 on the forehand. The durability is pretty good (so far I have been using it from past 4 months) and the rubber supports my game very nicely. In the past, I also used R45 on my backhand and it was also very good.

Thinking of putting a G-1 or a C-1 on a carbon Swat blade. My main concern is throw height. Carbon seems way lower than my beloved 5-ply.
I thought maybe switch to one of these instead of Rakza 7 to get some extra lift?
Reasonable?

You should roughly expect the same from NUZN. And that is quite impressive for a hybrid rubber.

No, I never tried Fastarc, except for when I got a pro player version handed down once. But never out of the box to give an insight on durability.

One thing which I can confidently state regarding Fastarc G1 vs. Andro rubbers is that Fastarc feels more stiff and requires more effort to generate speed compared to Andro rubbers. So, it is very important to consider that what is your playing style and what you expect. For me, I want to rubber to do the heavy lifting for me and I want to engage the sponge more. But, once I get tired, I want the rubber to perform while I do a shorter swing. This aspect, in my opinion, after playing like 8 sheets of Andro Hexer Powergrip/Powergrip and 4 sheets of Rasanter R50/R45 is most important for my game.
Between Powergrip and Rasanter R series, I will whole heartedly recommend Rasanter R series. Between R series and C series, I will still recommend R series as C series has very poor durability.
I am ready to compromise on 1 month of less durability if the rubber supports my playing requirements.
