if you got a good glue and smooth surfaces then 1 layer on the rubber and one on the blade might well be good enough.
Many glue suppliers recommend 2 layers of glue for the rubbers.
When it comes to removing glue from the rubbers, generally it is easier to remove thick layer of glue.

My experience:
1 layer - edges of the rubber are not stick good and I was forced to re-glue in ~1-2 weeks. I suspect that it might work for other people and that maybe I could use more glue or spread it more evenly, but it simply didn't work for me
2 layers - usually it is just ok, maybe because I got used to it
3 layers - I'm getting feel that racket head gets heavier and it is harder to transition from BH to FH. My current setup weight is just at the edge of what I consider to be maximum comfortable weight for me and adding that one layer of glue is noticable for me. It might be just my bug and it might work great for you

I usually use 2 layers on regular rubbers,
But 3 layers (3 on rubber 2 on blade) on boosted H3.
Otherwise, edges on boosted rubber are pretty nasty, they come up.
Also I agree other users, thicker glue is easier to remove, so h3 wants regular re-boosting.
Some say more layer is faster But i couldn’t feel difference. (Not tested simulatenously)

I found some Chinese glue in 280ml bottle which is very thin and still easy to remove at least from Chinese rubbers and without any splintering.
