Hi, I am a penholder who has a very looper based style on the forehand and a very hitter style on the back. I focus on the forehand a lot more, and I often perform spinny loops. Do you guys have any good recommendations for both blades and rubbers? My current setup is

Blade: DHS W1130 CS handle
Forehand: 729 Battle II
Backhand: Tenergy 05

Wood Setup:
B: Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive
FH: DHS H3N BS, DHS Skyline 2/3 BS
BH: BTY Tenergy 05

Carbon Setup:
B: DHS N301
FH: DHS H3N BS, DHS Skyline 2/3 BS
BH: BTY Tenergy 05

Some of the forums will tell you that DHS Skyline was made for penholders so you could always try that rubber line (Skyline 2/3), otherwise Hurricane 3 Neo would be a good option, but if you don't like boosting, then you could always try Donic BlueGrip J1 or J2. I've never tried Tenergy 05 out, but it's a good rubber from what a lot of from reviews online. If you want to try something different on the backhand, then H3 37 is a good option (but you need to have good form plus strong wrists) as well as Donic Bluegrip J3.

Skyline 2 on a Ma Lin Extra Offensive is a match made in heaven :) Pure power and control.

Stiga Offensive Classic is a good substitute for Ma Lin Extra Offensive. A bit slower on smashes but faster on loops. Works well with Skyline 2 and Hurricane 3.

Tenergy 05 is probably not the best choice for a backhand hitter. I'd suggest Rakza 7, especially if you need more control. This will let you hit flat, and also loop if you need to. If you want a Tenergy, go for Tenergy 64.

I would hold off on a carbon blade for now if I were you. Ma Lin EO and Stiga OC are great options with loads of speed and control. Also they're made for penholders.

FH rubber sounds alright.

BH if is hitter; the conventional wisdom is to use short-pips.

or

Tenergy 64 or Donic Desto F1 or

something not on many people's radar:

Nittaku Goriki Kaishoku. It's marketing pitch is an inverted rubber that behaves like shott-pips.
