Hi Guys, sorry to bother you again. Thinking of going with one of these rubbers on my FH for the Ovtcharov innerforce ALC blade.

Was just wondering which will be better and is the Hammond z2 worth the difference in price.
They are both excellent rubbers but they are different. It will depend on you individual playing style as to which will suit you better.
Having tried both I will say that I personally prefer the Hammond Z2 but the price is why I don't use it.
G1 needs an active and aggressive stroke, playing more fwd, to get the best out of it.
I can't describe it very well but here are two good reviews of the rubbers that may help you to decide

I play with them both, i prefer Z2 definitely, for me it was like if i have 6 blades with G-1 on all of them then only two are nice for play, while if i have Z2 on all of them then either all of them or 5 of them will be amazing nice for play, simply put i got more winning with Z2 over G-1.

I find z2 extremely grippy, dignics level, and doesn't react strongly to spin. It throws the ball a bit lower than g1 too. G1 is also very grippy, but not as much as z2, it also bites spin more. G1 feels safer when doing topspin shots because it has a higher arc, but z2 grabs and spins the ball just a touch easier.

It's what you prefer. For me the z2 is a rubber for close offensive play and blocking. The g1 is an all out attacking rubber that likes mid distance and first topspin at backspin pushes. You can also put more power into the g1 due to that arc, the z2 may fly long a bit easier.

When I used a racket with both on it, I liked the g1 on the fh and z2 on bh. Nowadays I would probably put z2 on both sides, but keep in mind, it's a bit heavier than g1. I would say ~2 grams up from the g1. It's not a big deal though, marginal difference, could be down to the individual rubbers.

Just a good Allround rubber really, which is good in most aspects of the game
Your profile shows you have Rakza 7 FH at the moment. This is one of the rubbers that best fits your stated requirements above.

I moved from Rakza 7 to Rakza Z because I wanted more spin, a higher throw and more control in the short game. Compromise was its arguably slower than R7 (for me anyway).
Point is I could have choose anything but this is WHY I chose RZ.
What is Rakza 7 lacking specifically that you would like a rubber to allow from your FH, ignoring technique let's say.

You could also consider the Z2 Special Version (or Nexy Etika 47) wich is a bit softer, 45-47° i believe, and therefore should be slightly easier to play with.
I assume it will be a tiny bit more bouncy, slightly slower and slightly higher arc, than Z2 normal, while still having the benefit of "low" reaction to incoming spin and still generating lots itself.
To be fair i have no idea how it pairs with Ovtcharov Alc tho.
