Because he started using loki Arthur China Pro like liang jingkun
He changed back to D05 on the forehand right after the Japanese league. He’s been using the new rubber on his backhand since then. I actually thought he might have gone back to tenergy on the forehand in Incheon because the forehand rubber’s sponge looked rather orange like Tenergy but I think that’s just lightingNo sure if you noticed, but Harimoto in Incheon (WTT) got back to Dignics on FH. I watched his yesterday's match and between the sets there were repeats in slow-mo and it could be noticed, when he serves and there was zoom-in to his blade.
The question is whether he didn't like new rubbers, or it was still in testing phase and he could use just for one tournament to see it in action and provide some feedback for future changes....
This is correct. He continues to use it on his backhand. You can clearly see the pink sponge here:He changed back to D05 on the forehand right after the Japanese league. Made to kill.So we also have these new rubbers in Taiwan for selective pros to test.
2.7mm sponge![]()
2.7??? Is the rubber itself really that thin?Kanak jha also testing this and confirmed 2.7mm sponge
yes2.7??? Is the rubber itself really that thin?
Togami has been continuing to use it from what I heard so that makes sense...Made to kill.
wonder about the durability thenyes
really thin topsheet and excellent quality
Those models didn't last at all. Bryce Highspeed with its thin topsheet (Micro Layer) seems to have decent durability. This remind me of old rubbers like Tibhar Makss or Donic Supersonic that back in the days were 2.6mm sponge.. it was not market success at time..
It was ok that time 2.5mm rubbers at max thickness.. I remember Sriver Max was 2.3..
German rubbers like Rapid, Resto.. were 2.5mm if I'm correct... Maybe Mark V, Coppa too.
So that time go from 2.5 to 2.6 was not a big deal.
Nowdays with 2.1 (BTY) to 2.7, it's a very agressive move.
Durability, weight and grip.wonder about the durability then
