Dignics 05 is even harder than 50 on esn scale- more likely 52.
anyway one can clearly see in bty portfolio, that they miss a mild hybrid concept, so soft topsheet and only slightly or non tacky with narrow and low pimples.
Perhaps zyre and zeed 03 are closing this gap?
You are correct - Zyre is still being tested by Butterfly advisory staff now, it is mild tacky and a little softer than 09c.

Judging by the arc of his topspin, I suspect it’s a non-tacky rubber. New pimple structure?
Impressive you can guess that from the arc...

This is interesting -- if it's something in the style of the Donic Bluestar A1 but with Butterfly "magic", then I expect it will be very popular, at least among amateur/recreational players. Professionals who use 09c probably wouldn't switch. But Harimoto, who previously used the Dignics 05, apparently feels it gives him something extra.

Do you have a sense of whether Butterfly sees it as more of a tackiness/spin upgrade on the Dignics 05, or a bouncier/more accessible 09c?

What’s the general consensus from the advisory staff?
I can't speak to a general consensus of all testers but from those I did speak to it seems like it will be pretty close to what @RefereeNumber2 says here. Basically, not a drastic change but a "less Chinese" 09c. Those used to 09c will probably be inclined to stay with 09c but some 05 users may take the step up.

Both.

099c is also mild tacky, is it similar in tackiness or less tacky then 09c. Is the softness comparable to Temergy 05. This rubber seems to be a lot of fun.

No sure if you noticed, but Harimoto in Incheon (WTT) got back to Dignics on FH. I watched his yesterday's match and between the sets there were repeats in slow-mo and it could be noticed, when he serves and there was zoom-in to his blade.
The question is whether he didn't like new rubbers, or it was still in testing phase and he could use just for one tournament to see it in action and provide some feedback for future changes....

I guess he's not satisfied by it, I expect to see Zyre-03 with some tweaks or Zyre-05 in the near future :p because it makes no sense to release a high end rubber which the pros do not use
