Pg7 H plays every bit like original pg7 with slightly softer touch due to outer ply being hinoki ,but the feeling is still medium hard. The handle is much improved in size and its decent now, not the small handle the first generation we seen before on pg series. This blade has unbelievable control and is very consistent on every shot, high throw blade and very spiny ,its a pleasure to play with, suits medium to hard rubbers . One of the very best blade of the new power G series. Super value for money, high quality too.

So it is just softer a little bit vs the pg7 orig? So what is the advantage of hinoki outply? Where is it good at and weakness? How about short pips on backhand? How about on Smashes? Looping? Best for Close or far distance playing?

So many questions yet few answers. I don´t know any of that. I just copied one and only available review from Revspin. PG7 is generally really good blade, so if this has better feel yet still medium hard, it may be still fast with better feel. The weakness might be that it is still slower than carbon blades. So far from the table, may not be as effective. Any other weakness is in the player's hand.

If the blade is consistent on shots, it could mean, that the sweet spot is better than PG7, since it tends to be not as good as in more expensive models and vary from piece to piece.
