HELP!! BLADE CHOICES

• I'm an equipment junkie and have tried a lot of blades: ZLC, SZLC, ALC, 5-ply, 7-ply, and 1-ply.
• I'm still looking for THE ONE!
• My main issue with composite blades is my poor receive—though I admit the speed is great.
• I'm currently leaning toward all-wood blades.
• I’ve tried the Sanwei V5 Pro, one of the blades in your top 10 list, and I love the vibrations.
• I want to try the Nittaku Acoustic because many people call it the king of all-wood blades.
• I’m also interested in the Tibhar Stratus Powerwood.
• On an all-wood blade, I feel more in control of my receive.
• I can even push heavy backspin and win points off it.

But still I am torn with my fzd alc and all wood blade.

I don't see a direct question in your post so I'm not exactly sure what you want but if you're swimming around in EJ pool then you need to pick a reasonable blade (all wood, ALC, whatever) and reasonable rubbers and stick with them!
If you're looking for a blade to magically improve your game and serve recieves you won't find it.
I recommend all wood for you because if you still have to ask about FZD ALC then you're not ready for it.
Pick one and master it.

i would probably buy some slow inner-composite type of blade. I think this is the best way to understand - do you need composite and more speed, or you need woody feeling and control. A lot of people who I talked to quickly switched their all-wood blades for something faster with composite.

Or faster 7 ply wood.
Most importantly, stay with the same blade (you can have a backup) for at least a year.
It really doesn't matter much.

On FZD ALC, I believe I am good on most of strokes,.except the receiving. I am poor in service spin reading ever since. However, I want a blade with a vibration. I just dont know why.haha. and the funny thing about it, when you are using it for a long time, you won't feel the vibration anymore yet when I try composite after all wood, it has no feel. Empty. I dont know my problem thats why I am asking for help

The blade that helped me develop my technique and strokes is OSP Virtuoso OFF-
I think there is no better all wood blade for a developing player, who wants to master technique and develop stability of strokes.

I personally think FZD ALC is a really good blade and with some good rubbers you won’t have an issue with it.

The honeymoon effect is real it may make your blade seem worse when it’s gone but if you power through with it you may find it’s the most consistent blade you have.

A lot of people recommend like slower blades etc for beginners but I know a lot of pro chinese players most notably xu xin saying to stick with one set of equipment. ( even though he has gone through all stiga carbonados within like the span of 5 years before changing to the dynasty carbon).

The biggest debate is wood vs inner carbon vs outer carbon. It’s all preference but if you are young have good technique physically fit go for a carbon blade get used to the extra speed and just practice with it.

I went from FZD ALC to HTSALC I had FZD ALC for like 2-3 years and the HTSALC is probably a sign that I’m starting to EJ.

HTSALC was like amazing in the first few training sessions (honeymoon effect) honestly I think I was lying to myself. I spent my left kidney on it better be good…

I like both blades but in the end I still find the FZD ALC my bread & butter. It’s probably because I train with it the most.

Carbon is really the way to go if its too fast you cant control it slow down your rubbers or opt for inner carbon. Feel you lack power? use outer carbon or get faster rubbers 🤷‍♂️

There's no magic blade, they all have things they do or don't do. Some are more balanced than others, however. Why don't u just stick the the fzd ( a fantastic blade) and put all that ej money towards a good coach who will make u overcome ur weaknesses

Keep looking then. You'll stop looking the moment you realise that it's you who makes the difference, technique, and you do not really understand anything about your equipment because your level isn't high enough to bring most out of it. You're barely scrapping its' potential

If you love your Sanwei's vibrations feeling, then keep that one. The better feeling you have = the better shots you'll make.

Sometimes it also depends on the production regularity/consistency, some say in depends a lot on the weight, the drying process also matters, I can feel the difference being a musician between 2 exact same instruments for example, not the same weight, not the same neck feeling, not the same string stifness even with exact same setups, not exactly the same sound... it's the same with TT blades, when you've find the ONE with the best feeling, make everything possible to keep the same for the longest time possible, do some maintenance, put some edge tape to protect it, etc.
