How bad is this tear / how playable is the rubber?

I wanted to remove this rubber from my blade, which was glued a few months ago.
It was glued very tightly and unfortunately I teared it a bit at the top.

I don't plan on using it on my main blade anymore, but I might try it on a different one.
I'm still curious.

What do you guys think about it.
How playable is it, how significant is it?

Did you play with something like this before?

It's for the bin if this tear was in the "hand" area, then it might be playable for hobby matches & exercises. For my hand, this rubber is for the trash as about 40 percent of my spins' contact point are in this upper area of the racket.

Also do not use glue to try it. Use a glue sheet instead it will be a lot better as the glue will get inside this tear!

It's totally fine to use on a backup racket, wouldn't use it on my primary though. The tear is jusssstttt outside of the area where you would be hitting the ball so you should be fine.

Every time you miss a shot you will be wondering "Is it the tear or is it me?" Is that what you want?

It is playable. It will not bother you at all.

Is the sponge still soft ? It looks like the sponge broke in a way that suggests the sponge is bridle. Of course if it is = rubbish.
