Hey Guys and Girls

How can i get my Rubber's sponge softer? I am playing a DHS PF4 and it is much to hard... Maybe there is a awnser without using commercial booster? And if there isn't you have an idea for a good booster?

I've tried putting baby oil on the sponge of DHS Skyline TG3 Neo before..I think it softened by a few degrees..hehe

You have to put it on the topsheet, about 3 layers

Then bake it at 250 degrees centigrade for 4 minutes exactly, no more, no less.

Yup, like glue. 3-4 times, I think.. with 30-45 minutes interval in between layers.. I've also tried putting 1-2 layers in the top sheet cuz I got bored,hehe, but there was no noticeable softening in my top sheet.However in the sponge, I noticed it softened..

using paraffin oil or lamp oil or "kerosene"(they are all the same) is better when tuning rubbers. wd-40 is also good.

Well, that is how Germans make the inside of the bread soft, after they toss in some ice cubes into the oven for moar humidity...

I wanted to tell you about my experience with WD-40 and the DHS PF4...

I put it on the sponge and left it to dry 1 day. I did this 2 times. At the first touching on the rubber i didn't felt any change that it is softer. But i tried it out on my BTY Innerforce AL and it was like day and night. The grip of the topsheet was gone and on my blade it felt much softer but i think it is also thiker... But ok! The first balls where really strange but after playing about half an hour it was getting better and better. My problem was i had no spin in my service. This problem was gone! And it is "ok" to play but not really good... Now i want to try the Victas 01. It seems to be really good and one of the best alternative to the Tenergy Rubbers!
