How many layers of glue do you use?

I use Revolution 3, which is quite thin, so 2 + 2 layers. If it's too thin, then it is very hard to take it off in one piece from the rubber.

It works well, feels very good when fresh, but it does seem to "wear out" after 1-2 months and needs reglueing, otherwise it starts feeling mushy.

so Today i worked with the Yinhe glue. it's got standard viscosity, i.e. thinnish (but not thin!) and is highly concentrated (density of rel. substance). the drying time is rather on the faster side, and of course also depends on the properties of the wood surface (porosity, temperature, dryness). because of the high concentration 1 layer on each surface is enough: if there's 1 layer on the blade, you can peel it off; if there's 1 layer on the yinhe sponge, you can peel it off., without damaging the sponge The adhesive force is strong, and in many respects the glue properties are similar to Revolution No.3. After using 20% of the bottle, i refilled distilled water in order to make the glue thin for my next time application. A diluted glue means that the drying time will be longer and that there will be less rel. substance remaining on the surface. it would then be less easy to peel it off.

nice glue, nice price. no need to look any further. 1(blade) + 1(sponge) is perfect with this glue.
