Be sure you pick up a scotch stuff with a proper sticky layer, some sticky materials is known to transfer stickiness to pimples.

nice technique, i could try it, but using masking tape instead, is easier to peel off.

That's what I do. I use packing tape, then glue like a regular rubber.
