My fault :(
Perhaps the ”oxidation“ contains another chemical reaction——Like dissolves like, the surface coating resin of H3 has a structure similar to the polymer molecules that make up the protective film.additionly,DHS's quality control has always been pretty poor.

I've seen more than once that after removing the long-applied protective film from the H3, its surface has a white layer, which reduces friction of the topsheet.
That was probably in the old days when H3 topsheet was really sticky... I have yet to see this...

Cheers

But one more thing thansk for all the responses but i have found out the culprit for this issue. it was just the way i put it in my bag and it rubbed against the edges of the film and cuased the edges to lift. But one more thing, i put edge tape like those fabric sort of ones idk but it always leaves a bunch of gunk on my blade and it looks bad after i take it off. it usually lifts some wood off along with it as well

Bad edging tape is a thing. I have had one that was insane with strong glue and a nightmare to remove. Was worried about damaging the blade. I am aware that some players put a thin layer of their rubber glue along the edge before putting edge tap on. I can't vouch for this as I have never done it and and have no idea if it actually helps in anyway...but someone here might know more.

I purposely try to avoid glue on the edges of the blade. If it bonds to the glue on the faces, you risk tearing off the glue on the outer perimeters of the faces when removing edge tape. Have happened to me too many times..

Use a racket case. Do not put your racket in the bag with other stuff. You'll not be the first one with a broken handle.
Edge tape lifting wood isn't good. try another brand. You can remove glue residue with some adhesive remover. Put it on a cloth and rub the blade's edge.
Oh ok. but in my bag is fine. THeres virtually nothing like i have a whole dedicated section for it.

As others have mentioned, these are the correct protective films to use, always non-sticky (blue version): https://dhs-tt.uk/product/protection-film-rp12/. The sticky ones (red) damage the tackiness and collect dust, this is not good for tackiness either.

A couple other thoughts:
- Do not apply rubber cleaner on your tacky rubbers, just water
- Always use a normal table tennis sponge, put water on one side, dry with the other
- Always put the protector after doing this
- Always put the racket in the case, with nothing else in it, maybe another racket if it fits on the other side.
- Do not put the case outside or in very cold, very warm, very humid places
- The DHS protectors leave a mark on the topsheet when removed again. That's fine, it's normal and has no effect, play some balls or breathe a bit onto the sheet and wipe, done.

I have used all types of hurricanes now for 8 years and this is the best way, doesn't matter boosted or not, blue or orange sponge, etc. Enjoy the DHS magic :)

What is a «table tennis sponge» exactly? Like this?

Or like this?

Both of these products are from BTY, both described as cleaning sponges.

Wait why shouldnt you use cleaning solution on tacky rubbers? i use it all the time and it preserves the tack and grip nicely. after many hours of use maybe not quite itnensive but definitely around 80 hours, it feels new still and literally the same amount of tack if not even tackier.

Correct, you can do it, but it is advised against it by DHS themselves, I read this once in one of their official answers, can't remember where, it affects the tackiness negatively, but I cannot tell how much because I only use water which is more than enough with a TT sponge, for me I use my DHS rubbers 6 months playing around 30-35h a month :)
I guess the question is: how come you need the cleaner if water and a sponge is enough? :D

I have been using revolution and Yasaka cleaners on My H3's for a year at least and I don't see any adverse effects.
The tackiness dissapears at the same rate as with pure water.
