One player asked me to buy the Friendship 729 FX top-sheet, Ox, without sponge. He claimed I bought it once for him, which I can't recollect ;-) and doubt it. Anyway, he is an older player, a defender, who plays his whole life, he helped a lot of people when they were younger. But he is kind of fixated on this idea of "unreturnable chop", and as you can understand, discussion is pointless... Anyway, I think to buy inverted tacky top-sheet only will be close to impossible, but if you have any idea, please post. Also, if you have concrete suggestions of any tacky inverted thin rubber, where "thin" means up to 1,0mm, please post the links, that would be very helpful (any european shop or Ali).

This all looks like a sheer folly. Inverted pimples without sponge is a forbidden construction threatening you troubles a lot. Yet, you may consider an ultra thin sheet of sponge material as an underlayer. Sheets sized of o. 3 mm is now widely found on market, thickness same as an art drawing Whatman paper.

Be happy all

If the topsheet ox pips in dosn't give enough spin it is possible to buy a 0.4mm ultrathin sponge

Side question: What glue will you use? Adhesive sheet?

I don't know. He said he ordered - actually made someone else order for him - two sponge sheets, 0,6 and 1,0mm. But what glue and how he will do it - no idea. But he said he can do it... "Unreturnable chops" are coming, I don't want to scare you too much, but if I were you, I'd consider switching to squash or something...
