Is this Rubber still usable after removing glue?

basically title, I removed glue and well the sponge came off.

Would you say this rubber is still good to use? its a fastarc c1

should I use more/thicker layers of glue to maybe even it out?

Just try it.

I never remove glue, for this reason. The softer and more porous the sponge, the more likely you're to see this kind of damage. Regluing by applying a (very) thin layer of glue however is never a problem. As long as you don't reglue more than a handful of times, and that, well, just doesn't happen in my experience. Rubbers wear out way before you can reuse them the umpteenth time.

I remove the glue from rubbers if it gets uneven. I do this so when I apply it again it looks smooth, not bumpy or lumpy, on the paddle. You can remove it by just rubbing with the palm of your hand but you will notice the glue comes off easier if it is warmer.
