This is hilarious, the Iranian man basically played with only left wing and defeated Lin
Yep, the Chinese guy was way uncomfortable with the Iranians kind of awkward style.
But the longer the match continued the better he did.

Cheers

Congrats to Harimoto ! another nice title to his CV. The medal feels a bit different though. LJH deprived him of a final against WCQ. Harimoto won without beating a Chinese guy, much like Ovtcharov in WC 2017, when Timo beated Ma Long and Dima defeated Timo in the final.

Wang Yidi also was very strong. Very upset for Mima Ito who played very very well too, and was really close to winning... she was only 1 point away to get a 3-1 lead in G4 on her serve ! G5 was a close call too.

haven't seen Manika Batra play but I remember seeing many comments on YT how bad she was playing in World Team Championships. She must be very happy of her bronze medal. a very unexpected result.
